What does MatMosaic track?

MatMosaic keeps the moving parts of an all-star cheer season together: athletes, the season workspace, competitions, budgets and expenses, travel, fundraising, and reminders. It gives parents one place to see what is happening, what is coming up, and what needs attention without rebuilding the picture from scattered notes and messages.

Where should I start when I first open MatMosaic?

Start with the athlete and the selected season, then add the competitions and costs your family already knows about. You can fill in travel, fundraising, and reminders as the season takes shape; the workspace is meant to become more useful over time, not require every detail on day one.

Question 3

How is “Projected remaining” calculated?

Accepted Answer

Projected remaining = budgeted − spent / committed − upcoming planned costs. MatMosaic includes due manual costs, upcoming fees, competition entries, and planned travel so the number reflects what you have already used or committed plus the costs you still expect for the selected budget year.

Where do imported expenses end up?

Accepted Answer

CSV-imported expenses first go through a review and mapping step. Once you confirm them, they are added to the selected budget year’s Expense register, where you can review the entry details and manage the record alongside the rest of that season’s costs.

Can I keep competition and travel planning with the budget?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Competition entries, fees, lodging, flights, ground transportation, meals, and other planned costs can live in the same season workspace as your budget. Keeping the itinerary and expenses together makes it easier to decide what is ready, what is due, and what still needs a plan.

How do shared links work?

Accepted Answer

Sharing creates a read-only snapshot for the budget year you select. The family member receives an expiring link to that snapshot, so they can review the season summary without editing your workspace or seeing a different budget year than the one you chose.

How do I revoke a family share?

Accepted Answer

Use the in-app Family access and Shared summaries controls in your season workspace to revoke an active link. Revoking stops that shared summary from being available through its existing link.

Question 8

How do I extend a family share?

Accepted Answer

The current sharing controls let you revoke an existing link and create a new one; they do not edit an existing link’s expiry. To extend access, revoke the old share if needed and create a fresh link for the selected budget year.

Where do receipts belong?

Accepted Answer

Receipts belong to individual entries in the Expense register. Open the relevant expense there to view or manage its receipt rather than looking for a separate receipt area.
